TRUCKER TERMS & CONDITIONS
The contract governing your use of the Freight24 platform as a truck owner, transporter, or fleet operator.

These Trucker Terms and Conditions ("Trucker Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between Freight24 Logistics Private Limited, operating under the brand name Freight24 ("Freight24", "Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"), and the fleet owner, transporter, logistics supplier, truck owner, or other transportation partner registering or using the Platform ("Trucker", "You", or "Your").
These Trucker Terms govern your access to and use of the Freight24 website, mobile applications, driver and fleet-owner applications, Control Tower and related digital logistics and transportation services (collectively, the "Platform").
By registering, accessing, downloading, or using the Platform, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agreed to these Trucker Terms and the Freight24 Privacy Policy.
If You do not agree with these Trucker Terms, You must discontinue use of the Platform.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION
1.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law.
Where You register on behalf of a company, partnership, proprietorship, or other organization, You confirm that You are authorized to represent that entity.
1.2 Trucker Registration
To use Freight24 transportation services, You may be required to create an account and provide accurate and complete information regarding:
- Trucker/fleet owner details;
- Contact details;
- PAN;
- GST registration, where applicable;
- Bank account details;
- Vehicle details;
- Driver details;
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC);
- Insurance;
- Permit;
- Fitness Certificate;
- Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate;
- Driving Licence; and
- Other documents required for verification or compliance.
You are responsible for keeping all information accurate and up to date.
1.3 KYC and Verification
Freight24 may conduct KYC, document verification, vehicle verification, driver verification, or other reasonable checks before or during the provision of services.
Freight24 may restrict or suspend access if required information is not provided or if submitted information cannot be reasonably verified.
2. TRUCKER ACCOUNT AND SECURITY
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, passwords, OTPs, and other authentication information.
You must not permit unauthorized persons to use your account.
You must immediately notify Freight24 if You become aware of unauthorized access or suspected misuse of your account.
You are responsible for activities carried out through your account, subject to applicable law.
3. VEHICLE AND DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Vehicle Compliance
Every vehicle deployed through Freight24 must:
- Be legally registered;
- Have valid insurance;
- Have required permits;
- Have a valid fitness certificate where applicable;
- Have valid PUC certification where applicable;
- Comply with applicable tax and transport requirements; and
- Meet the vehicle type, capacity, and operational requirements communicated for the trip.
3.2 Driver Compliance
Drivers assigned to Freight24 trips must:
- Hold a valid driving licence for the applicable vehicle;
- Be legally permitted to operate the vehicle;
- Follow applicable traffic and transportation laws;
- Follow reasonable safety requirements;
- Carry required vehicle and driver documents; and
- Comply with applicable trip instructions.
3.3 Accuracy of Vehicle Information
You must not provide false or misleading information regarding:
- Vehicle type;
- Vehicle capacity;
- Vehicle registration;
- Vehicle availability;
- Driver identity;
- Vehicle location; or
- Any other operational information.
4. TRIP ACCEPTANCE AND EXECUTION
Once a trip is accepted, You are expected to provide the agreed vehicle and driver and execute the trip according to the applicable trip instructions, rate, route, pickup location, delivery location, and agreed timelines.
You must promptly inform Freight24 of any issue affecting trip execution.
You must not transfer, subcontract, or replace the assigned vehicle or driver without authorization where such approval is required.
5. VEHICLE LOCATION AND GPS TRACKING
Where GPS or location tracking is enabled, You agree that Freight24 may collect and process vehicle and driver location information during the relevant trip or service period.
Location information may be used for:
- Trip monitoring;
- Route tracking;
- Operational coordination;
- ETA and TAT monitoring;
- Safety and security;
- Customer support;
- Proof of trip movement;
- Performance analysis; and
- Dispute or investigation purposes.
You must not intentionally disable, manipulate, spoof, or interfere with required GPS or tracking functionality.
6. PICKUP, DELIVERY AND POD
6.1 Pickup
The Trucker must ensure that the vehicle reaches the designated pickup location within the agreed or communicated timeline.
Any significant delay or inability to reach the pickup location must be immediately communicated to Freight24.
6.2 Delivery
The Trucker must make reasonable efforts to complete delivery at the designated location within the applicable delivery timeline.
6.3 Proof of Delivery
The Trucker/Driver must submit clear and hard copy of Proof of Delivery ("POD") or electronic Proof of Delivery ("ePOD") through the Platform or through another approved method.
POD may include, where applicable:
- Delivery receipt;
- Receiver acknowledgment;
- Stamp and signature;
- Delivery photograph;
- Digital confirmation; or
- Other documents required for the shipment.
6.4 Delayed or Missing POD
Failure to submit POD within the required timeline may result in payment being held, payment processing delays, document follow-up, reconciliation adjustments, or other contractual action, subject to the applicable commercial agreement.
6.5 Fraudulent POD
Submission of forged, altered, manipulated, or fraudulent POD may result in suspension, payment adjustment, recovery of amounts, termination, and other action available under the applicable agreement and law.
7. CARGO, DAMAGE AND SHORTAGE
The Trucker must take reasonable care of cargo while it is in the Trucker's custody or control.
Any cargo damage, shortage, loss, tampering, seal issue, accident, or other material incident must be reported to Freight24 as soon as reasonably possible.
The Trucker shall cooperate with reasonable investigation and documentation requirements.
Liability for cargo loss, damage, shortage, or other claims shall be determined in accordance with applicable law and the relevant commercial agreement.
8. ACCIDENT, BREAKDOWN AND DELAY
The Trucker must immediately report:
- Accidents;
- Vehicle breakdowns;
- Cargo damage;
- Cargo shortage;
- Route deviations;
- Significant traffic delays;
- Vehicle detention;
- Driver-related incidents; and
- Other material operational issues.
The Trucker must cooperate with Freight24's Control Tower and provide required information, photographs, documents, and updates.
No instruction from Freight24 shall require a driver to violate applicable law or compromise safety.
9. TRIP CANCELLATION AND VEHICLE REPLACEMENT
If the Trucker is unable to execute an accepted trip, the Trucker must inform Freight24 immediately.
Unauthorized cancellation, repeated non-availability, or failure to report for an accepted trip may affect future trip allocation or result in contractual action under applicable commercial arrangements.
Vehicle replacement must comply with Freight24 requirements and any approval process communicated for the relevant trip.
10. PAYMENTS AND DOCUMENTATION
Payments to the Trucker shall be processed according to the applicable:
- Rate agreement;
- Trip confirmation;
- Work order;
- Commercial agreement;
- Invoice requirements; and
- Payment terms.
The Trucker is responsible for submitting accurate invoices, PODs, supporting documents, bank details, GST details, and other information required for payment processing.
Freight24 may withhold or delay processing of amounts where required supporting documents are missing, incorrect, disputed, or subject to verification.
Any deductions, recoveries, penalties, or adjustments shall be made in accordance with the applicable commercial agreement and applicable law.
11. TAXES AND STATUTORY COMPLIANCE
The Trucker is responsible for its applicable tax and statutory obligations, including GST, income tax, vehicle-related taxes, permits, insurance, employee/driver obligations, and other legal requirements applicable to its business.
Where applicable, Freight24 may require supporting tax documentation before processing payments.
12. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
The Trucker must not:
- Submit fraudulent documents;
- Misrepresent vehicle type or capacity;
- Manipulate GPS or vehicle location information;
- Use an unauthorized vehicle or driver;
- Provide false trip information;
- Misuse Freight24's Platform;
- Attempt unauthorized access to another account;
- Upload malicious software or content;
- Circumvent Platform security; or
- Engage in unlawful or fraudulent activities through the Platform.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All rights in the Freight24 Platform, software, design, trademarks, logos, content, systems, databases, workflows, and technology remain the property of Freight24 Logistics Private Limited or its licensors.
You receive only a limited right to use the Platform for authorized transportation operations.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or commercially exploit the Platform without written authorization.
14. DATA AND PRIVACY
Freight24 may collect and process information relating to the Trucker, vehicles, drivers, trips, location, POD, documents, transactions, and account activity.
Such information shall be processed in accordance with the Freight24 Privacy Policy and applicable law.
You are responsible for ensuring that information provided to Freight24 is accurate and that You have the necessary authority to provide information relating to drivers, vehicles, and other persons connected with Your operations.
15. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY
The Platform is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis.
Freight24 does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical failures, network issues, third-party services, security incidents, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond Freight24's reasonable control.
16. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
Freight24 may suspend or restrict Your account where reasonably necessary due to:
- Breach of these Terms;
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity;
- False documentation;
- KYC or compliance failure;
- Repeated operational violations;
- Security concerns;
- Legal or regulatory requirements; or
- Other material risks to Freight24, clients, drivers, or other users.
Termination shall not affect obligations or liabilities that accrued before termination.
17. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Freight24, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, representatives, and service providers against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable legal expenses arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms;
- Your violation of applicable law;
- False or fraudulent information provided by You;
- Unauthorized use of the Platform;
- Your vehicle or driver operations; or
- Your violation of third-party rights.
This provision remains subject to applicable law and any applicable commercial agreement.
18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Freight24 shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Where a separate commercial agreement contains specific liability, cargo, insurance, payment, or compensation provisions, those provisions shall apply to the relevant transaction.
19. FORCE MAJEURE
Freight24 shall not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, fire, accidents, war, riots, government restrictions, strikes, transportation disruptions, telecommunications failures, internet outages, cyber incidents, or third-party infrastructure failures.
20. MODIFICATION OF TERMS
Freight24 may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms may be published through the website or Platform. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, subject to applicable law.
21. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Subject to any dispute-resolution mechanism contained in a separate commercial agreement, disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
